To My Beautiful Daughter

I love you for who you are and who you are becoming- a beautiful human being.

Your strength in overcoming adversity is truly mind-blowing, especially when I didn't always see or accept some of your ways in the past.

Momma doesn't always know best.

but Momma does know when she's wrong.

So today, I want to say: I'm sorry.

I apologize for not validating your feelings in the past. I now understand how deeply that hurt you.

Even though I have always accepted and loved you immensely as my beautiful daughter,

I allowed my misinterpretation of God's Word to steer my beliefs in the wrong direction.

But today, I vow to walk in truth and love.

I will help others see the Light and draw them near to our Loving God--

for He is the Truth, the Light and above all, LOVE!
